This was my first time making this particular recipe and oh my goodness was it good! My family loved it!
2 lbs chuck roast
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
4 potatoes, sliced
1 small bag baby carrots
4 celery ribs, chopped
2 tablespoons ketchup
2 tablespoons Soy sauce
1 (10 ounce) cream of mushroom soup
3⁄4 cup water
1⁄2 teaspoon salt
Additional seasoning of your choice, I used Tastfully Simples Simple Steak Seasoning
Cut vegetables and place in crock pot in the following order: carrots, celery, (onion if you like) and potatoes. Sprinkle with salt and steak seasoning.
Brown roast in vegetable oil and steak seasoning and place on top of vegetables in crock pot.
In a small bowl mix cream of mushroom soup, ketchup, soy sauce and water. Pour over roast.
Cover with crock pot lid and cook 2 hours on high and 4 hours on low.
