Wow! Seriously this is the best potato soup I have ever had and my house smells amazing!
Yeah Fall! How I love they!
I basically just looked around for what I had in the pantry since we are low on some groceries and my hubby was out of town with the car.
This is what I came up with ๐
You will need;
Potatoes
Celery
Onion
Chicken stock
Garlic Salt
Ground black pepper
Salt
Milk
Butter
Water
Dice up potatoes, celery and onion.
Throw into large soup pot.
Sprinkle Garlic Salt, Ground black pepper and salt over the diced up goodness.
{I know I drive some of you nuts that need exact measurements
but that is not how I roll, I just go with it.} ๐
Pour chicken broth over till pot is about a 1/4 of the way full and fill remaining with water.
{I fill it up till it looks just a little soupy, I like thicker soups.}
Heat till boiling then remove from heat and pour out half of the liquid.
{I use a strainer and just plop the mixture back in.}
Slowly stir in milk and butter. Simmer till hot and add more salt or pepper to taste.
This stuff is so good and perfect for a rainy fall day. ๐
